Niagara Jet City Cruises in Youngstown was visited by Cheryl Chamberlain’s travel and tourism class on May 20 for the boat trip of a lifetime! The connection is Jet Boat captain Shaughn Irving, a Grand Island alumnus, who gave students a thrill ride on the Lower Niagara River.
The students were treated to a full-on boat ride in the lower rapids, followed by a luncheon at the Silo Restaurant in Lewiston. The Niagara Region is rich in tourism sites and the students learned about the history of the mighty Niagara.
