Grand Island Senior High School's Shared Decision Making Team is proud to report continued success in the 2018-2019 school year. The team is composed of administrators, teachers, parents, school related personnel, students and community representatives and is led by High School Assistant Principal Robert Julian. During their monthly meetings, team members have an opportunity to review current initiatives, propose ideas, study relevant school data and statistics, and share success stories.
As a result of these conversations, the team decided to focus their efforts upon the following initiatives: minimum enrollment requirements, eligibility for participation in high school extracurricular activities and athletics, and school beautification. Additionally, the team looks to partner with members of the community and over the last year has been supported by the PTSA, school and District leadership, faculty members, and students.
