The Family Support Services program, an initiative of the Wellness Committee in the Grand Island Central School District, has announced its next virtual presentation in the wellness education series. Erin Parr-Horlings from Horizon Health Services will present "Cannabis and the Developing Brain." View the presentation live on Jan. 19 at 6 p.m. by following the link here.
During this program, you will learn about the impact of cannabis use on the developing brain. The presentation will review current research on the effects of cannabis use during critical periods of brain development. Solutions and strategies will be offered to parents and other concerned loved ones on how to talk about the risks and benefits of cannabis.
