Grand Island Students Selected for Erie County Senior High All-County Music Ensembles

Grand Island Central School District is proud to announce that 21 Grand Island High School students have been selected to participate in the prestigious Erie County Senior High All-County Music Ensembles.

These students successfully prepared and performed auditions and were chosen from among talented musicians across Erie County to represent Grand Island in the countywide ensembles. Selection for All-County is a significant accomplishment and reflects the students’ dedication, musicianship, and commitment to excellence.

Students selected for the All-County ensembles will rehearse alongside the top student musicians from across Erie County under the direction of distinguished conductors and music educators. The experience will culminate in a concert performance on Saturday, March 21, showcasing the exceptional talent of Western New York’s young musicians.

Grand Island High School Choral Director Allison Villalta said the recognition reflects both the students’ hard work and the strength of the district’s music program.

“We are incredibly proud of these students for the time and dedication they put into preparing their auditions,” said Villalta. “Being selected for All-County is a tremendous honor, and it’s exciting to see Grand Island so well represented among Erie County’s top young musicians.”
