Grand Island High School proudly celebrates a major milestone as physical education teacher and baseball coach Dean Santorio earned his 300th career victory.

A dedicated member of the Grand Island community, Santorio started teaching and coaching in 1992. He is only the second coach in baseball and football program history. Known for his commitment, leadership, and passion for the game, he has played an instrumental role in building a strong and respected baseball program.

A 1986 graduate of Grand Island High School, Santorio’s connection to the district runs deep. His achievement reflects decades of hard work, consistency, and a lasting impact on generations of students.

Reaching 300 wins is a remarkable accomplishment and a testament to Santorio’s dedication to his players, the sport, and the Grand Island community.
