Annual budget vote and BOE trustee election

8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Grand Island High School gymnasium, 1100 Ransom Road

**NOTE: For your convenience, reserved parking during the vote will be available in two different places: the Grand Island High School back parking lot closest to door No. 21 (right across from the main gym entrance) and in the front lot of the high school.

Community Perception Survey:

The results of this annual community-based survey will be used to develop and improve the way the district communicates with its various audiences. The Community Perception Survey opens as the date of the budget vote and election gets closer. The survey will close May 31, 2024.

Board of Education Trustee Election - Candidate Petitions Available March 25, 2024 in District Clerk's Office 

Voters will elect three members to the GICSD Board of Education for three-year terms, commencing July 1, 2024, and concluding June 30, 2027. Candidates wanting to run for the Board of Education may pick up a petition packet starting Monday March 25th, from the District Office located at 1100 Ransom Road between the high school and middle school, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Candidates must return completed packets by April 22nd by 5:00 pm at the District Office.  Candidate bios will be posted below as the date of the election gets closer. Voter Information and Qualifications:

Voters must be:
1.  A citizen of the United States
2.  At least 18 years of age
3.  A resident of the district for at least 30 days prior to vote
