2026 - 2027 UPK Lottery
The Universal Pre-Kindergarten (UPK) online interest form is now open
until Friday, May 8, 2026 at 2:00 pm.
PLEASE NOTE: ONLY ONE ENTRY IS NEEDED PER APPLICANT.
To be eligible for the UPK program, a child must be a Grand Island resident
and 4 years old on or before December 1, 2026.
Please ensure all submissions are completed by the stated deadline.
The UPK Lottery will be held on Wednesday, May 13, 2026 at 1:00 pm in the Grand Island High School Professional Development Room #137.
After the lottery is held, if your child secures placement in a UPK classroom, you will then need to complete the New Student Registration Packet.
