Grand Island High School
A rich tradition of academic excellence that has fulfilled generations of learners
Students in grades 9-12 have the advantage of a broad range of honors, Advanced Placement and college-level courses. Music, foreign language, art and technology classes round out a student's curriculum and let them explore diverse topics.
A dedicated and talented teaching staff goes above the expected to provide opportunities for students to shine. Whether it is coordinating a Mastermind competition, Tech Wars entries or supervising students for the Neighbors Foundation Food Drive and other community initiatives, our District staff has committed itself to reinforcing positive values, civic pride and a commitment to our Island community. We are proud of the fact that we teach to foster academic excellence, personal growth and social responsibility.
