Welcome to Mrs. O'Brien's Website! This year I will be working with Mrs. Pernick in 5th grade. I am certified N-6 Elementary Education, and K-12 Special Education. I graduated from SUNY Geneseo in 2002 with a Bachelor's Degree in both Elementary and Special Education. In 2005, I graduated from Buffalo State with a Master's in Special Education.Huth Road has been my home for the past 16 years as a teacher and 6 years as a student! I attended Huth Road for Kindergarten through 5th grade from 1985-1991. I have taught both 4th and 5th grade over the past 16 years, and worked with 11 different classroom teachers! One of the things I enjoy most about my job is working with other teachers and sharing ideas to make learning exciting for our students!I currently live in East Amherst with my husband and two children, Jack (age 9) and Molly (age 7). Jack is going into 4th grade this fall, and Molly is going into 2nd. They are both VERY excited! I love to spend time with family and friends, cook, bake, travel, shop, watch football, host parties, craft, and just have fun!I look forward to an AWESOME 5th grade year!!!
