Substitute Recruitment
Grand Island Central School District is accepting applications for a variety of substitute positions within all buildings and departments in the district. All applicants for substitute positions must apply online using the WNY Schools Standard Application.
Substitute teacher applications will be accepted for all subject content areas at the high school, middle school and three elementary schools From Standard Application site, attach your completed CERTIFIED application to the Per Diem Substitute Teacher posting.
Substitute Teachers Rate of Pay: Non Certified (Must have Bachelors' degree)- $115 per day; Certified - $135 per day; Retired GICSD Teacher - $150 per day
Registered nurse substitute candidates should use the Certified application.
Substitutes are also needed in transportation, food service, building and grounds, monitors, teacher aides and clerical. Please complete the WNY Schools Standard Application online and complete the CLASSIFIED application.
OR you may print our Classified Application from the link below and forward that to our Personnel Office. These applications can be picked up in the District office as well.
