    Tropical rain forests are in the tropics and near the equator. Tropical rain forests are located in South America, Asia, Africa, and Australia. In South America, the Amazon Rain Forest is the biggest rain forest in the world. Tropical rain forests are warm, wet and humid. They are very rainy with average yearly rainfall is up to 260 inches. Tropical rain forests do not get cold.  It is usually between 68o and 86o Fahrenheit.
