This is my tenth year of teaching, and my fourth year at Kaegebein Elementary school. I am so lucky to be teaching in Grand Island and look forward to my upcoming adventures with my new students!
I have lived in Western New York for all of my life. Growing up in the Buffalo area, I played several sports including soccer, swimming, dance and cheerleading. When I was growing up I was dragged to all of my brother's sports games and have developed a love of hockey! I love watching all of the Buffalo sports teams!
I attended William Smith College and graduated with a BA in English Literature with minors in Psychology and Education. While in college I traveled abroad and traveled, explored and taught in Auckland, New Zealand. I then graduated from Hobart and William Smith Colleges with a Masters in Art of Teaching focusing my research in Students At - Risk in the Elementary Classroom.
I am certified in Early Childhood Special Education, Early Childhood Education, Childhood Special Education Grades 1-6, and Childhood Education Grades 1-6.
I look forward to a wonderful year at Kaegebein Elementary school in 5th Grade!! :)
