Grand Island Family Towns and Schools
GIFTS is a partnership of the Town of Grand Island, the Grand Island Central Schools and many community human service agencies. Our mission is to support and promote a strong, wholesome community by providing Grand Island families and individuals with coordinated access to prevention and intervention programs and services. The GIFTS Family Support Center is a convenient place to find help with some of life's challenges. Together we provide:
- Information, referral and follow-up
- Individual, family and group counseling
- Parent and community workshops
- Prevention initiatives in the schools and community
GIFTS confidential services are open to any family or individual who is a resident of Grand Island. To obtain more information or to make a free appointment contact Sue Novits at 773-9600 x690.
GIFTS is funded through a United Way grant and the Grand Island Central School District as well as in-kind contributions from the Town of Grand Island and other GIFTS partners. Donations are always welcome. You may also designate your tax-deductible United Way contribution to the GIFTS program.
