Music is a science, it's mathematical, it's a foreign language, it's history, it's physical education, it is insightful and demands research. Most of all, music is art.
Our award-winning music department encompasses instrumental, choral, and theater, as well as a variety of club opportunities for students to participate in. Led by Sarah Russo, Coordinator for Secondary Music Education, and Craig Poissant, Coordinator for Elementary Music Education, more than 260 high school students and 420 middle school students are involved in the instrumental and vocal music programs. Instrumental lessons start in fourth grade.
