The Grand Island Central School District is currently hiring school bus drivers and substitute drivers.
If you do not have your CDL license, we will train you. In fact, the District will pay $16 an hour, up to 30 hours maximum, for the CDL class B license with a PS endorsement training.
Starting pay as a substitute driver is $20 an hour. After 20 days of consecutive work, your hourly rate will go up to $24.10.
Starting pay for permanent school bus drivers is currently $24.10 per hour.
The hours are part-time with a split daily schedule (approximately 25-30 hours per week) with great benefits, including Health Benefits for eligible permanent school bus drivers and attendants.
