    Information for the Week of SEPTEMBER 30th

    Thursday, October 3rd - Summer Reading Assembly

    This week in Room 7

    English-Language Arts: Students will practice the strategies of preview and predict in small, leveled groups using fictional stories. Students will be learning to construct a narrative paragraph as well. The first spelling test will be given on Thursday, October 10th.

     Read 20 minutes every night and log books in the Reading Log in the student agenda. 

     

    Math:

    Students will complete Lessons 2-1 to 2-5 (Number Sense: Addition and Subtraction) in enVision math.

      

    Social Studies: Students will continue the "Pirate" theme
    to study mapping skills. Students will learn Cardinal and
    Intermediate Directions as well as how to use a compass.
